RUSSIAN ECONOMY: RUSSIA’ MACRO – 2017. NOT RECOVERY BUT TANFORMATION.

It is time to look at the challenges facing companies operating in Russia for 2017 and to consider strategies and tactics that might help companies navigate in the current environment.

We are happy to inform you that Senior Managing Director - Chief Analyst of Sberbank – Mikhail Matovnikov has accepted to make a presentation to members of Danish Business Club about Russian economy.

The meeting will take place on 15 March 2017 starting at 19.00 at the Royal Danish Embassy in Moscow who has kindly agreed that we use their board room for the meeting.

Mikhail Matovnikov is looking into Russian macroeconomics and comparing the 2008-2009 crises with the 2014-2016 crises. But he is also taking a more unusual look at main industrial and business sectors and their performances including latest and ongoing trends and transformations.

Since 2013, Mikhail Matovnikov works in Sberbank, he is responsible for analysis of the bank’s operating environment and the bank’s own management information systems’ data. In 2011-2013 Mr. Matovnikov was a member of the Supervisory Board of "Sberbank of Russia". Please see more details Mikhail Matovnikov, CV, 14.2.17.pdf

The meeting is free of charge for members of DBC and so are sandwiches and soft drinks after the presentation.
